Use the buttons or scroll down to have a look at planned activities!
Registration
Reunion registration formally opens on Friday, September 27 at 4:30 pm at the Dakota Event Center (DEC) located at 720 Lamont St, behind the Hampton Inn & Suites and Holiday Inn hotels. Stay for the social hour and get reacquainted with your classmates!
Registration reopens again on Saturday at 5:00 pm.
Corn Hole Tourney
Be sure to register for the Corn Hole Tournament when you check in for the reunion. Tournament details will be provided at registration for what is turning out to be a popular activity at this year’s reunion!
Weak, huh?
Friday Agenda
Golf Tourney – 10:00 AM
Calling all fellow golfers! This year’s Reunion will once again hit the links at Lee Park with a 10:00 AM tee time on Friday morning. Please plan on arriving by 9:30 to pay the green fees and set the foursomes. It is undecided, right now, if the tournament will be 9- or 18-hole.
Social & Dinner – 5:00 PM
Join fellow classmates at the evening’s socal hour (cash bar) starting at 5:00 pm. Dinner will be served at 6:30 and followed by a short memorial for classmates who are no longer with us.
Saturday Agenda
Trap Shoot – 9:30 AM
If you don’t want to walk the halls of “old” and “new” Central High, here is your chance to drop some pigeons at the Aberdeen Gun Club. The clay will start flying at 9:30 AM so plan on being at the range early to pay range fees and buy shells if you need them.
The Aberdeen Gun Club is located south of town just off U.S. Hwy 281. The address is 38574 139th St.
Tours of Central High – 10:00 AM
Has it been 50 years since you’ve been in Central? It’s not quite the same school that you remember but there are familiar attributes. Staff from the Alumni Association will give us a guided tour of both “old” Central as well as the “new” high school located near Roosevelt St South and Melgaard Road.
The tour will start at 10:00 AM. The Reunion Committee will provide details as to where to meet when they become available.
If you can’t make the tour, the Alumni Room – a dedicated space for Central High School (CHS) alumni to reminisce and connect with your past – is open on Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Bus Tour – 1:30 PM (Updated!)
Join fellow classmates for tour around your old stomping grounds! The tour bus departs from the DEC at 1:30 pm on Saturday the 28th. A route is coming together to include both high schools, our grade schools (existing or not) and maybe dragging Main … well at least going North.
Plan on being at the east parking lot of the DEC 30-minutes before departure.
Non-alcoholic refreshments will be provided but you’re welcome to BYOB!
Social & Dinner – 5:00 PM
One final night of socializing and dinner before we say goodbye until the next reunion. Dinner will be served at 6:30 and followed by a short memorial for classmates who are no longer with us.
